A new school term begins... and I can't help but reflect.
There was a time when I was told I wouldn't amount to much.
I was labelled.
I made mistakes.
I doubted myself.
Others doubted me too.
If someone had told that younger version of me that one day I'd be travelling all over Australia, walking into schools, speaking to thousands of young people, and helping shape the hearts and minds of the next generation... I probably wouldn't have believed them.
But that's the power of a seed.
A seed doesn't look like much when it's planted. It's buried. It's under pressure. It takes time. Yet with the right environment, encouragement and perseverance, it grows into something far greater than anyone imagined.
That's why I do what I do.
Every school, every classroom, every conversation is another opportunity to plant seeds of confidence, resilience, purpose, kindness and hope.
Because I know firsthand that one encouraging word can change a life.
As we kick off another term, I'm grateful for every school that trusts Sekseed with their students. Thank you for allowing us to invest in your young people and remind them that their past doesn't define them, their labels don't limit them, and their future is still being written.
To every student starting this term...
You are more than your mistakes.
You are more than the opinions of others.
You are capable of far more than you realise.
Keep planting good seeds.
Keep showing up.
Keep growing.
The harvest is coming.
🌱 Here's to another term of planting Seeds of Success across Australia.
