Feeling so privileged to have attended the 2026 Reconciliation South Australia National Reconciliation Week breakfast with 3,000 others.

We were so moved to hear Auntie Ros's tiyati (truth telling) about her experience as a Stolen Generation Survivor. Grateful to also hear Eddie Betts, Casey Donovan and Nathan May.

At Goodstart Blackwood we look forward to continuing to walk alongside community - we are All In!

Goodstart Blackwood are taking part in Wear It Yellow in 2026 💛

Wear it Yellow is a fundraising campaign for Children’s Ground, supporting a bright future for First Nations children and families!

We will be raising money for Children’s Ground, and hosting a Wear It Yellow Day on Tuesday 2nd of June. We encourage all children and educators to dress in yellow, as we celebrate First Nations culture and learn about our shared histories.

The money raised will fund education and wellbeing programs for children and families, on Country and in community.

From now until Friday 29 May 5pm, ALL DONATIONS will be DOUBLED up to $100,000!🥳

That means every donation made through our Fundraising page will be matched dollar for dollar, doubling the impact of every conversation, every fundraiser and every act of support!

We are proud to share with our community that our staff have recently completed the Safe Infant Sleep course through Red Nose Australia. This training ensures we are following best practice guidelines to keep every child safe during rest and sleep times.

Through this professional training, our team is equipped with up to date knowledge about safe sleep environments, positioning and supervision which helps reduce risks and provides peace of mind for our families.

The safety and wellbeing of the children in our care is always our highest priority, and we are committed to maintaining the highest standards every day.

Today, we were very privileged to welcome all the wonderful mums and grandmas to our Mother’s Day morning tea.

The children enjoyed sharing special art and craft activities with their mums, and it was lovely to see everyone spending meaningful time together in the room.

We truly hope you enjoyed the time spent with your children and grandchildren.
