This past week, our school proudly celebrated National Reconciliation Week, a time for all Australians to reflect on our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to consider how we can work together towards a more reconciled future.
As part of our Reconciliation Week learning, every class participated in a whole-school activity focused on the theme of being "All In for Reconciliation." Students explored what reconciliation means and shared ideas about how they can contribute to building respectful relationships, fostering understanding, and creating a more inclusive community for everyone.
It was wonderful to see students engaging in meaningful conversations and demonstrating their commitment to kindness, respect, and unity. Together, we are learning that reconciliation is everyone's responsibility, and that even small actions can make a big difference.
❤️💛🖤 We are proud to be All In for Reconciliation. ❤️💛🖤

Today, we had the pleasure of celebrating our wonderful volunteers at a special Volunteer Morning Tea.
Our volunteers play an important role in our school community, generously giving their time, support, and care to help our students and staff each day. Their dedication makes a meaningful difference and helps create a positive and welcoming environment for everyone.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our volunteers for their ongoing commitment, kindness, and support. We are truly grateful for everything you do. While some of our volunteers were unable to join us today, we would also like to acknowledge and thank them for their valuable contributions throughout the year.
Thank you for being such a valued part of our school community.

This week, our school proudly recognises and celebrates National Reconciliation Week.
Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to reflect on how we can continue to build respectful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider community.
Throughout the week, students will participate in learning experiences and a whole-school activity that promotes understanding, respect, inclusion, and connection. These opportunities encourage meaningful conversations and help strengthen our commitment to walking together in the spirit of reconciliation.
As a school community, we are committed to embedding our Peace Values and creating a culturally safe and welcoming environment where all students feel seen, heard, and valued.
We encourage our families to take time this week to reflect, learn, and engage in conversations about reconciliation and the importance of working together for a more united future.
We value and embed Aboriginal cultures, perspectives, and histories not only during Reconciliation Week, but every day within our school community.

On Friday, we held our third Wellbeing Session focused on resilience, perseverance, and stamina.
Students in rooms 20 and 21 led the sessions, sharing resilience-building strategies and helping to keep students engaged in learning throughout the activities.
It was wonderful to see students across the school actively participating, building positive connections, and learning about the importance of resilience and perseverance both in and out of the classroom. These sessions continue to provide valuable opportunities for students to grow in confidence, strengthen their wellbeing, and support one another in their learning journeys.
