SOME BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

Did you know that East Timor is one of Australia’s closest neighbours and is only 1.5hr flight from Darwin? East Timor suffers from a severe lack of dentists and dental services, with great need to improve access to dental care. In 2001, two Australian Dentists Dr Terry Yuen and Richard Salter established a basic dental clinic in Dili, with support from the Rotary/Lions Club to provide basic dental care to underprivileged local residents.

This clinic also serves as the base from which volunteers make outreach trips to remote towns and villages. Services are provided by volunteer dentists providing pro bono services as well as some local dental staff. Over the last 20 years or so, many Australian dentists and dental students have donated their time and skills to provide self-funded trips and work along side of the local staff to help improve access to dental care in East Timor.

Thank you for supporting such a great cause, and we look forward to seeing you there!

BREAKING NEWS: Greene Vardiman Black has been reported missing from the clinic 😱😱

At approximately 7:00 PM, witnesses claim he was last seen abandoning operative dentistry in favour of a dance floor.

His handpiece? Gone.

His matrix bands? Discarded.

His treatment plan?

Party.

Authorities are advising all dental students to remain calm. There is no evidence that this behaviour is permanent... although the playlist suggests otherwise.

Should you encounter GV Black, do not attempt to discuss extension for prevention. Simply grab a ticket and join him.

🦷 GV BLACK PARTY 🦷

No cavities. Just good music. Great company.

We've lost GV Black. We suspect he's having too much fun.
