If anyone has misplaced a blue iPhone with a clear magnetic charging case, it has been handed into the front office. The iPhone is locked, so will require a password for proof of ownership.

We’re delighted to share the launch of our newly transformed Resource Centre! Formerly our library, this space has been thoughtfully redesigned to prioritise peer-to-peer relationships and authentic communication. Guided by universal design, the new AdWest RC delivers a calm, low-demand environment that supports all our students to connect, enjoy shared reading, and relax in a way that makes sense for them.

In setting up the space, we have prioritised the amazing glass features and spacious layout, creating a welcoming and peaceful atmosphere filled with natural light. Every detail of the set-up has been chosen to promote calmness and accessibility.

And a massive thank you to our PPP provider, Downer, for their incredible support throughout this project. We are truly grateful to have such a dedicated and caring team behind us, helping to create an environment where every student can learn and thrive.

Term 1 Recap – 2026

What a fantastic start to the year at Adelaide West Special Education Centre!

Term 1 has been full of new beginnings, as we welcomed our 2026 class groups, new staff, and new students into our community. It’s been wonderful to see friendships forming and everyone settling into their new routines.

From Swimming Week, Excursions, and our Autumn Easter picnic, to finishing off the term with the Senior Classes Business Innovation Easter Stalls there has been no shortage of memorable moments and learning opportunities!

It’s hard to believe how quickly the term has flown by! We’re so proud of all that has been achieved and can’t wait to see what Term 2 brings.

Reminder tomorrow 10th April is the last day of Term 1- 2:30pm early dismissal.
