The keys have officially started rolling into our sites and we are THRILLED to pieces already 🔑✨

We are aiming to collect around 5,000 keys in total for our upcoming Watch Them Lead installation for Child Protection Week and we need your help to make it happen.

We’ll take:
🔑 old keys
🔑 new keys
🔑 tiny keys
🔑 giant keys
🔑 broken keys
🔑 house keys
🔑 funny shaped keys
🔑 mystery keys that nobody remembers what they unlock 😂

Every single key will become part of something powerful representing children and young people in out-of-home care and the opportunities, connection, belonging and support that help them unlock their potential.

Drop-offs can be made at our sites and op shops so keep them coming legends. Let’s see if this community can pull together 5,000 keys 💪🔑✨

What an experience!

Old Macdonald’s Travelling Farm visited the Kuula group at kindy today!

We had goats, lambs, rabbits, ducks and chickens!

Some of the children’s perspectives:

I love feeding the goat grass.
The sheep was eating my shoe.
I saw some ducks.
I was brushing the black and white goat.
I like patting the little chickens.
They were liking the flowers on my T Shirt.
I love the Mama chicken.
There was lots of farm animals here.
I like when the goat chewed my jumper.
Patting the grey bunny rabbit. My Grandpa rounds the sheep up before us in the shearing shed.
The black goat was eating my skirt.
I love patting the bunnies.
Patting the goat, the goat feels soft.
I don’t like it.

We can’t wait for them to come and see us again on Thursday for the Kardi group.

Parents and carers are invited to a new FREE road safety session presented by SAPOL Road Safety Educators at the SA Police Road Safety Centre.

This session focuses on the everyday choices that help keep children safe on our roads, covering:

- Child restraints
- Pedestrian safety
- School crossings
- Bike safety

Attendees will also hear from SAPOL Road Safety Advocate Lyndal, who will share her deeply personal story about how the right choice of bike helmet saved the life of her fouryearold son, Lincoln, after he was struck by a van. Her experience is a powerful reminder that the right safety choices really can mean the difference between life and death.

We had such a lovely time celebrating Mother’s Day with a breakfast at kindy today 💐

It was wonderful to see so many children sharing the morning with their mums and other special people in their lives, including nannas and grandmas. The children loved playing together, showing their loved ones around, and spending time with each other.

Thank you to everyone who joined us — we hope you enjoyed this morning as much as we did.

Welcome back to Term 2! ☀️

We are looking forward to seeing the Kuula group tomorrow and welcoming back the Kardi group on Thursday!

We are excited about the term ahead, let’s do this! 🚀

What a way to finish Term 1, 2026! ✨

Wheels Week was an absolute hit! The children demonstrated their confidence, resilience, independence, and perseverance as they zoomed, balanced, and cheered each other on. So many smiles, so much fun, and plenty of proud moments shared with friends!

Now it’s time to relax, recharge, and enjoy the holidays! ☀️
