Last week we read Caleb Azusa Nelsonโs Open Water๐ง The poetic language was used successfully in portraying emotions and intimacy in a way that makes the reader feel it too ๐ท Open water examines the experiences of two Black-British South-Londoners as they fall in love ๐, whilst covering themes including the relationship with the police ๐ธ Open water has so many good quotes, our favourite being โโฆwhat continues to pull you back?โ We also learnt about some members hatred of toast ๐
