๐จ IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS IN AUSTRALIA ๐ฆ๐บ
You may have recently seen headlines saying:
โ โAustralia has banned Graduate Diplomasโ
But that statement can be misleading.
The Australian Government's latest measure specifically affects:
๐ BSB80120 โ Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning)
๐
The change takes effect from 5 October 2026.
From that date, CRICOS providers will no longer be able to:
โ Enrol new overseas students in BSB80120
โ Issue new CoEs for this course
โ Commence overseas students who have not already started the qualification
โ
Students who have already commenced BSB80120 by 5 October 2026 can generally continue studying and complete their qualification.
โ ๏ธ IMPORTANT: This does NOT mean every Graduate Diploma qualification in Australia has been banned.
