Looking for a summer internship? DSTG’s Summer Vacation Program applications are now open!

The twelve week program encourages students to use knowledge learnt at university and apply it to current Defence projects. With over 25 projects covering a range of disciplines, this program is suited to a multitude of different interests 🧮🔬💻🥼

Each year DSTG offers a limited number of scholarships over the University summer vacation period.

Hey everyone final remainder for the ASAP AGM today 1pm in LG18.

The Department of Defence has recently opened applications for their STEM Cadetship program for students currently in their 2nd year or above, and the Graduate program for students finishing this year. Programs like these from Defence and other organisations are a great way to have additional support while you study or to secure a role before completing your studies!

The Defence STEM Cadetship program is a training and development program for STEM undergraduate students to apply their learnings to real world problems while receiving contribution towards study fees. The Defence Graduate Program is a 1 year paid training program (8 month + 4 month rotations) for recent STEM graduates with a minimum of bachelors and honours completed in the last 2 years prior to commencement. More details on the Graduate program can be found at the Defence Graduate Program website: https://www.defence.gov.au/jobs-careers/graduate-program/graduate-pathways.

The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) Cadetship offers students a head start to a rewarding career in Defence by offering an entry-level employment pathway for high performing tertiary students currently studying a relevant STEM degree.
