The Department of Defence has recently opened applications for their STEM Cadetship program for students currently in their 2nd year or above, and the Graduate program for students finishing this year. Programs like these from Defence and other organisations are a great way to have additional support while you study or to secure a role before completing your studies!
The Defence STEM Cadetship program is a training and development program for STEM undergraduate students to apply their learnings to real world problems while receiving contribution towards study fees. The Defence Graduate Program is a 1 year paid training program (8 month + 4 month rotations) for recent STEM graduates with a minimum of bachelors and honours completed in the last 2 years prior to commencement.
