I've been quiet on here, because I've been super busy out there. What a fortunate and humbling problem to have. I'm pinching myself.

The past four months have been nothing short of epic and today I've taken a moment to catch my breath and reflect on some of the highlights:

✅ Appointed to the Economic Development Advisory Committee, Campbelltown City Council (SA)
✅ Business Capabilities Program, business coaching - Tourism Industry Council SA (TiCSA)
✅ Special Guest interviewer - International Women's Day event, Campbelltown City Council (SA)
✅ Keynote speaker - LG Professionals SA 2026 State Annual Conference
✅ Event mentoring and stage management - SAHMRI Gather Round events

And, Little Shove has welcomed its highest number of new mentoring clients since business inception four years ago.

Yes, four years! Four years of creating, experiencing and growing my dream job that is, Little Shove.

Four years of meeting and working with an incredible range of people; helping them find clarity, confidence and direction in their careers, leadership, teams, and lives. I've witnessed extraordinary growth and change, and I feel like the lucky one.

The anniversary was back in February, but while I'm sitting here all reflective, I'll take a moment to say, Happy Birthday Little Shove - may we celebrate many more together.

It was a delight to spend time with Sondra for business coaching/mentoring and to see her get so much out of our session.

For those of you in tourism in South Australia, this wonderful human needs no introduction. For everyone else, it is my pleasure to introduce Cathy Ramsey.

The calibre of people who choose to help them with their professional and personal direction, astounds me. Later this week I'll be sharing a story about one of them.

A client told me on Friday that she feels privileged to spend time in my company (yes, I teared-up) and while I'm gracious accepting compliments as I understand the gift that they are, I can honestly say that it's me who feels privileged.

That each client opens up and shares their stories, their challenges, their thoughts and their dreams with me, and trusts in my guidance to help them move forward, is pinch-me stuff.

The reward is seeing the mentoring relationship work time and time again, knowing that each person is driven by a unique set of values, purpose and passions that we uncover along the way.

Helping someone discover who they are and what they want then move forward with renewed clarity, confidence and purpose, is so satisfying that I can barely describe it.

Mentoring is a privilege and an honour - and a bit of fun when I get to give someone the little shove that they need 😜

Well, hello! Here we are again, already days into the new year.

I’m not one for resolutions. But I know so many of us seek change, seek answers to questions, and feel the weight of not knowing the answers, often stuck, with fear and overwhelm blocking us from being able to find our way forward.
