Something BIG is stomping its way to Playgroup!

We are excited to announce that Pop Events will be joining us with six of their fantastic baby dinosaurs for our Stomp, Chomp and ROAR event!

Tell your friends, share it with your mums’ groups and get ready for a morning full of fun. You won’t want to miss this one!

📅 Thursday 17 September
⏰ 9:00am to 10:30am
🎟️ $5 entry per family

Pay on the day by cash or EFTPOS.
No bookings required.

The event will be held in our beautiful school Nature Play Garden, with a wide range of dinosaur-themed sensory play, messy play and imaginative play for children to explore.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone for a morning of stomping, chomping and ROARING fun!

🌟 Term 3 is here! 🌟

We are so excited for a fantastic term ahead! We have so many wonderful experiences planned for our children and families to enjoy.

A few exciting things to look forward to this term:

💳 EFTPOS is now available! You can now make your playgroup donation by EFTPOS on entry, so there’s no need to remember your coins (Of course, coins are still very welcome if that’s your preference!)

📚 Week 5: School Library Visit! Playgroup will be heading into the St Pius X School Library for a special incursion. If you’ve been wanting to see a little more of the school, this is a wonderful session to attend!

🦸 Week 6: Book Week Dress Up! All children are invited to dress up as their favourite book character. Start planning those amazing costumes now. We can’t wait to see everyone’s creativity!

🦖 Week 8: Stomp, Chomp and ROAR! Something BIG is coming to playgroup! Our Stomp, Chomp and ROAR event is going to be an unforgettable adventure. Make sure you save the date because you won’t want to miss this one. More details are coming soon!

💙 Week 10: Laura’s Playgroup Wedding! Our beautiful Laura is getting married! Join us for a very special Playgroup wedding celebration as we wish her all the happiness in the world💍✨

WOW! 🤩

Today we had our BIGGEST attendance ever at St Pius X Playgroup! What an incredible morning!

We splashed in water play, explored sensory and mud play, coloured in our very own Australian Animal colouring books, and had the amazing join us with some beautiful Australian animals to meet up close and pat! 🦎🐸🐾

One of our favourite moments was sitting super quietly during group time so the shy little possum felt safe enough to pop out and say hello to us 🥹

And with so many families, song time turned into Laura and Julian’s very own sold out concert 😂🎶 The room was filled with singing, dancing, smiling and so much joy!

Thank you for your continued support of our Playgroup community. We absolutely love sharing these special mornings with you all 💙💛🤩

On Thursday, the amazing Wilbur’s Wildlife will be joining us with lizards, possums, snakes and more incredible native animals for children to see, learn about and explore up close! Perfect for all our little animal lovers 🐾

All children will also receive a Australian animal colouring in book, including Kaurna language ❤️

We can’t wait to sing, play, explore and learn together this week!

So many happy smiles, busy little hands and endless giggles filled our playgroup spaces 💛

We are still absolutely overwhelmed and grateful after raising an incredible $1000 for the Red Nose Foundation ❤️
A huge thank you to our amazing playgroup community for your kindness, generosity and support. It truly means so much.

Our hearts are SO full ❤️

This week, our Playgroup community raised an incredible $1000 for the Red Nose Foundation ❤️

These funds will help provide support and care to families, while also contributing to lifesaving research. This fundraiser is one very close to our hearts, and we are so incredibly grateful for the kindness and generosity shown by our community 🤗

There were so many smiles, so much joy, and such a wonderful feeling of community all throughout the week ☀️

A HUGE thank you to our amazing Playgroup parent, Susanne, who baked so many delicious smiley face cookies, and generously donated all of the ingredients and her time. You are truly amazing 🍪✨

We also loved welcoming the wonderful Sunny for an absolutely incredible Bollywood performance 💃✨ The energy, colour and joy filled the room and the children loved every minute!

And another HUGE thank you to all of the wonderful businesses who donated prizes for our raffle! We are so grateful for your support ❤️

What a BEAUTIFUL day at playgroup ☀️💛

The sun was shining
We were dancing with Piper 🐦
Counting all the way to 10
Singing songs, rhymes and dancing together 🎶
Lots of giggles and belly laughs
Parachute fun with big waves, colourful movement and excited little faces 🌈
So many beautiful new families joining us
And little ones having the BEST time playing and exploring ✨

It was one of those magical playgroup mornings that fills your cup right up 🥹

Bringing a little bit of the magic of playgroup home 💛

Pour, place and play… it’s that easy! Hours of colourful sensory fun for your little ones 🌈

We are SO excited to be launching our very first Piper’s Pour and Play packs at our Week 4 Families Week celebration! These packs have been created with love, fun and little hands in mind 🥰

What’s included?
🌈 Red, yellow, blue and green coloured rice
🐦 Bird cut out figure
🪶 Colourful feathers
✨ Tweezers for fine motor fun

These packs are wonderful for:
🌈 Colour recognition and sorting

Song time with these two is pure FUN 🤩

Big laughs, smiles, dancing feet and lots of happy noise… this is what playgroup magic looks like 💛

You can just feel the joy in the room as Julian and Laura get everyone singing, moving and joining in. There’s clapping, there’s dancing, there’s those belly laughs we LOVE… and honestly, it’s impossible not to smile watching it all happen 🩷

No wonder song time is such a favourite for our families… it’s loud, it’s joyful and it’s full of those beautiful, happy moments we’ll remember 🫶
