TabHu believes that life is improved by performing arts, that acting and performance are emotional activities that feed the soul, and that pleasure is found in the simple act of taking part.

A new teacher and a new workshop at TabHu Acting School: Katie Cawthorne introduces Viewpoints.

Viewpoints is a theatre methodology based heavily in improvisation. Developed by practitioners Anne Bogart and Tina Landau, it is used in performance for ensemble building, actor training and performance composition. Katie Cawthorne is a NIDA trained director and theatre-maker who utilises this system in her own practice to anchor performers in their own truth, develop a strong sense of ensemble and build image based performance. This workshop will give performers a taste of this practice, encouraging them to explore impulse as a way to build connection in training to feed into their performance.
