Education is a critical part of the equation for safer bus journeys. We love to see these engaged students! Thanks to Dysons and all involved for another successful school visit.

Proud to have our program included in this road safety education initiative last week, led by City of Launceston Official for National Road Safety Week. Year 3 and 4 students from local schools learned how to navigate the road responsibly as pedestrians, cyclists and passengers.

The team from Kinetic Tasmania donated buses to transport students to the day-long event, sharing bus safety messages before and after their rides. A huge team effort from start to finish, grounded in their strong commitment to student safety.

We are thrilled to see bus safety recognised as a key component of broader road safety education.

National Road Safety Week is a time to reflect on the role that we all play in keeping our roads safe: as drivers, riders, passengers and pedestrians.

Road safety is a whole-community effort: the decisions we make when we navigate the road have real, lasting consequences.

A fantastic day of bus safety education was had at Tamrookum State School last week. Students reported that their favourite part was learning how to evacuate the bus in an emergency (we've heard this a few times before!) Grateful to presenter Michael and everyone involved for another fun, informative school visit in the Scenic Rim region. Particular thanks to Logan Coaches, who have been steadfast supporters of the BusSAFE program ever since we launched in Queensland last year.

Jo had a fantastic time last Friday out at Capella State School in Queensland's Central Highlands. Students enjoyed exploring the Emerald Coaches bus, especially checking out the view from the driver's seat. Warm thanks to the school for hosting us, and to all at Emerald Coaches for your active support of our program.

Thanks to Naracoorte Primary School for hosting BusSAFE last week, and for these great photos and words. We absolutely agree: buses are a part of school life for all students, so bus-specific safety education is critical. Thanks also to BusBiz for supporting our visit to Naracoorte with a bus: hands-on learning is central to our sessions.

Thanks to Karrabee Bus + Coach for their ongoing support of BusSAFE in Gympie. Peter has been out at Monkland State School this week, talking to students about responsible, safe bus travel. It's our second visit to this school: we're thrilled at the opportunity to build on ideas and cement understanding of bus safety messages.
