Why do people give up?
Have you experienced any of these in the past?
Remember, knowing the obstacles which are holding you back from progressing forward, is in fact half your battle won.

Struggling to land a job..
Things not going well..
Finding it hard to accomplish anything you've set out to do this week..
Do you simply feel down..
Things just not going your way, no matter how hard you try?
.
This is a timely reminder for you.
Hang in there.
Nothing is permanent.
Just remember..
Everyone that's enjoying the luxury of having a job right now once struggled just like you.
Things WILL change for the better.
Everything has it's time.
You're not alone.

We're pleased to announce that Visgrow Internships has partnered with Multicultural Communities Council of SA to help 22 talented people with a disability and from a culturally/linguistically diverse background to land an internship with a medium to large organisation.
The project aims to enhance the culture and recruitment practices of employers to create positive and inclusive workplaces for culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) people with a disability.
As a person living with disability, I know how important of a project this is and it means a lot to me!
We will support the interns with employability skills, such as resume coaching, LinkedIn coaching, interview prep, and career coaching.
As part of this project, MCCSA will also offer participating organisations with complimentary CulturalQ and Disability inclusion training.
In addition to Visgrow being involved, Business SA are also collaborating and just this morning we met with City of Charles Sturt and they confirmed their support as an employer!
If you are interested to know more about this program or to participate as an employer, please get in touch with us.

I want to show my appreciation and thanks to all our clients, partners, students, grads, interns, student societies, universities/higher ed institutions, collaborators, agencies, friends and family that supported me and Visgrow Internships on our growth journey throughout 2022.
I'm truly grateful and privileged to have you all in my network and I wouldn't be where I am today without the support of each and every one of you.
There's haters out there but that hasn't stopped me from persisting in pursuit of my ambitious goal of helping as many people (especially international students) succeed in understanding the job market, landing their dream job and excelling in it.
As you can tell, this year went by with its ups and downs, but I still say I'm extremely lucky and privileged to work with so many special people, on some exciting and challenging projects and generally people with good hearts.
To our friends, I hope we can continue collaborating in 2023 and if you're not already working with us I'd love to hear from you and explore opportunities to work together.
All the best and thank you!
Mustafa

If you’re a recent graduate, can be crucial for gaining work experience and paving the way to your dream job!
When interning, students have the opportunity to test their ideas and refine their skills in a real workplace setting, which enables them to develop an understanding of how their degree may be applied on the job.
You learn so much from internships; interning allows you to add achievements to your resume, you gain valuable work experience, it allows you to grow your professional network and it gives you a feel for the job search process. Not to mention, if you do a good job, you'll also likely secure a much needed referee for that next job application!
Don’t underestimate internships – internships not only help you stand out in the very competitive job market, but in some cases can also lead you directly to that dream job!
Make sure not to miss out on internships now that you've graduated – an amazing opportunity could be closer than you think!

Here is an important message for students and grads.. it's ok to not be okay.
Did you know that 40% of those aged 16–24 years old were most likely to have experienced symptoms of a mental disorder in the previous 12 months?
Please remember to seek help if you're not feeling 100% - you're not alone in this and it's completely okay to not be okay.

The future is nothing but a projection of the actions you take today and now.
But what does it really mean? It actually means only YOU can create the reality you truly want.
So keep up the effort and don't give up!

We had a blast over the last two weeks running three workshops in partnership with StudyAdelaide to around 50 international students, focused on Positive Attitude & Personal Impact!
The objective of these workshops were to help the attendees understand how to present themselves to others as a high-impact and positive person with a strong personality.
High impact people are remembered well, are listened to and are respected. As a result, they are often successful and influential people. Having a high impact on others allows you to feel more confident about your abilities and actions and affects the way people perceive you. This in turn makes it easier for you to present yourself and your ideas in a way that is beneficial to you.
Some of the things we covered included:
- The power of your personal brand
- Body language and how that can influence how you are perceived
- How we talk and the power of the tone and words we use
- The importance of active listening
- Small talk and how networking can help your career
- How to craft a 30 second intro pitch when someone asks "tell me a little bit about yourself?"
Thank you StudyAdelaide for organising these workshops and for allowing us to contribute.
