FQA OF EverGreen Education
Who are we?
There are nearly 470 students in EverGreen Multiple Intelligence Education. Most of our teaching crews are Australian kindergarten, primary and secondary teachers. Therefore, we are familiar with the Australian curriculum and experienced in handling different learning needs and levels.
What is the Mental and Olympiad Math program?
The Mental and Olympiad Math program integrates the application of Math. Students are learning Math through the practice of AMC, private schools’ scholarship exams papers such as ACER, and gifted program exams papers such as IGNITE and Olympiad Math. Our students apply their mental calculation skills at these exams, allowing them to achieve faster speed and more accurate answers.
What is the YCT Chinese Language program?
Youth Chinese Test (YCT) is an internationally accredited Chinese language assessment offered by the Ministry of Education of the Chinese government. EverGreen Multiple Intelligence Education (EverGreen Education) provides lessons to help students build up their Chinese language, consisting of writing, speaking and reading. Recognising Chinese characters is crucial to students, while many traditional teaching platforms start with PinYin. We have found that many students transferring from other schools can only read and write when the PinYin is provided, even learning for five years or more. Chinese character is different from the other types. Each stroke has a meaning behind it. Drawings, sounds and shapes form Chinese characters. Therefore, recognising characters is the key to success in learning Chinese languages.
[Math]
Since 2017, our Mental and Olympiad Math class students have represented the whole of Australia in the international arithmetic competition. Our students are ranked in the top 4-61 of the world (23 countries with 30,000 practitioners). In 2022, three students entered the gifted program at Glenunga High School (IGNITE) and ranked in the top 25 in the exam (571 candidates total). 91.3% achieved High Distinction and Distinction in Australian Math Competition (AMC).
[Scholarship and AMC]
Since 2017, we have accumulated 63 students who achieved private school scholarships. Not only did our students achieve scholarships from their academic results, but they also achieved Piano scholarships from private schools and successfully entered Music Specialist Programs such as Brighton High School.
[YCT Chinese Language Exam]
3 students achieved full marks (200), and 2 students achieved 180/200 in the YCT Chinese language exam since 2021.
[AMEB Piano]
The rate of achieving A+ and A in the AMEB is 97.84% in EverGreen Education. Since 2016, 93 students achieved A+ and A in the AMEB piano exam, while just 3 students achieved B+ and B. And we only have someone graded at least B.
