🌸 Happy Mother's Day 🌸

Confident Kids would like to send their love and appreciation to all of the mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, foster mothers, and mother figures in our lives, happy Mother's Day!

Wishing you a day filled with joy, relaxation, and appreciation.

👉 Every year we show our mum's just how much we love them by showering them with handmade gifts, flowers and yummy treats.

'Lest We Forget' on ANZAC Day.

Tomorrow, we choose to remember and honour the service and sacrifice of those who have served. Anzac Day commemorates the qualities of courage, endurance, resilience, good humor, mateship, and selflessness of the Australian and New Zealand forces.

The date marks the first big military action by Australian and New Zealand soldiers in Gallipoli in 1915. We often reflect on this day through dawn services, parades and ceremonies.

Our centre will be closed on Friday 25th April, and we will reopen on Monday 28th from 6:30am.

🌍✨ Cultural March Recap ✨🌍

We kicked off the month of March with the vibrant Holi Festival, where laughter echoed through the centre as our children and educators danced the morning away and tossed colourful powder in the air. The joy was contagious, and every smile reminded us of the magic in celebrating together.

Next up was Harmony Day – a very special time for us, where we honour and embrace the diverse cultures that make up our community. Across the centre, we explored cultural displays, sensory trays, meaningful art experiences, and learned through music, dance, and storytelling. It was a heartwarming reminder that we are all part of one big, beautiful community.

To round out the month, we celebrated Ramadan and the Eid Festival. Our little learners enjoyed:
🌙 Creating play-dough plates inspired by the nights of Ramadan
🕌 Crafting beautiful lanterns to hang around our rooms
📚 Listening to stories that shared the meaning and joy of these celebrations

March was a month of discovery, unity, and celebration of the wonderful cultures that make up our Confident Kids family. 💛

🐰 Just a reminder that our centre will be closed over the Easter Holiday Period on Friday 18th April and Monday 21st April. 🐰

Today Confident Kids will celebrate Harmony Day to recognise Australia's multiculturalism, and promote inclusiveness for all.

An important part of our 'K.I.D.S' Values is 'D' for Diversity. We value our country's (and centre's) rich cultural diversity, and believe that strength lies in collaboration.

🌈 Holi Festival 🌈

Confident Kids hopes the festival of colours bring joy, laughter, and love to all!

Holi is a colourful Hindu festival celebrated by praying around a bonfire after sunset, singing, dancing, and playing with colours. It celebrates the triumph of good over evil, and winter into spring (in India).

Confident Kids will enjoy brightening up the day by throwing coloured powder at each other to symbolise love and new beginnings!
