This week on PNTV, we meet Sue from Story Dogs and learn all about the wonderful Scooby Doo and the impact he has been making in the classroom! 🐶📚

Sue tells us more about the Story Dogs program and how Scooby helps students build their confidence, enjoy reading and feel more comfortable sharing a story. It was fantastic to hear about the difference Scooby has made with our students — and, of course, he was very happy to be the star of PNTV for the day!

We also have a very special congratulations for Parinaaz, who was selected as a finalist in the Prospect Libraries 2026 Writing Competition! What an incredible achievement. We are extremely proud of you, Parinaaz — well done!

And finally, with Father’s Day coming up this Sunday, we popped into the Father’s Day Store to see what our students have been choosing for their dads and special people.

We might have had a sneak peek at some of the presents… but shhhhhhh! 🤫😊

We hope all of the dads and special people in our Prospect North community have a fantastic Father’s Day!

This week on PNTV, we celebrate an absolutely epic Book Week Parade at Prospect North Primary School!

A huge thank you to the Book Week committee for putting together such a massive event. It was fantastic to see so many students dressed as their favourite book characters, and even better to have so many parents and families there to enjoy the parade with us. What an incredible celebration of books, reading and our school community!

A3 and A4 are also back with another update from The Arthur Street Project. This week, a huge delivery of mulch arrived and the students got straight to work spreading it across the area. Mal and Hannah’s classes are doing an amazing job transforming the space and helping make our school look better and better every week. Great work!

And finally, we head back into the world of science with Karyn as we discover how popcorn is made! 🍿 The students explore the science behind what happens inside a popcorn kernel when it heats up and suddenly goes POP!

This week on PNTV, we celebrate SSO Week and recognise the incredible School Services Officers who do so much for our students, staff and school community every day.
We were honoured to welcome Andrés Gómez Barba, Education Advisor at the Embassy of Spain in Australia, who joined us in thanking our wonderful SSOs for their hard work, kindness and dedication.
A huge thank you to every member of our SSO team. Your support makes a real difference across Prospect North Primary School, and we are incredibly lucky to have you!
We also celebrate National Science Week with Karyn and the students from Room 6/7, who show us some of the exciting science experiments they have been working on. Thank you for sharing your curiosity, creativity and fantastic scientific thinking with us!

This week on PNTV, we visit our Reception students for the exciting premiere of their brand-new short film!

Families joined us for a special movie parade and screening, complete with popcorn and juice boxes. It was wonderful to see so many parents come along to celebrate the students and enjoy their fantastic film.

A huge congratulations to Danni and Kylie for putting together such a memorable event. We would also like to thank Jules Janzen for editing the movie and going above and beyond to bring it all together. We are so lucky to have such talented and supportive parents in our school community!

Room 6 students Una and Ella take us along on their swimming excursion, sharing a great student-led segment about their experience.
Finally, Judy and our LEGO League students show us some of the amazing things they have been working on—including robots that can create art!

This week on PNTV Episode 247, we have a shorter episode as our students and media team have been hard at work putting the finishing touches on their short films ahead of the upcoming Adelaide Youth Film Festival. We can't wait to share them with you soon.

We also celebrated NAIDOC Week with a series of meaningful learning experiences across our school. A special thank you to Lara for helping coordinate this important celebration and creating opportunities for students to deepen their understanding of Aboriginal culture and history.

We were honoured to welcome Jack Buckskin, who introduced students to the Kaurna language and shared why preserving and strengthening First Nations languages is so important. His visit gave students a valuable opportunity to learn about the language of the Traditional Custodians of the Adelaide Plains and the vital role language plays in culture, identity and connection to Country.

A sincere thank you to Jack for generously sharing his knowledge and inspiring our students through this special experience.

Welcome back to Term 3! This week on PNTV Episode 246, we're back with another exciting episode filled with student stories and new beginnings.

In Back From The Break, we caught up with students from across the school to hear about their school holiday adventures and everything they got up to over the break.

In Meet & Greet, we welcomed new student Elektra from Meg's class, who shared a little about herself as she begins her journey at Prospect North. Welcome to the PNPS community, Elektra!

We also stepped inside the Senior Studio to take a closer look at our STEM Ministries, where students are exploring technology, creativity and innovation through hands-on learning experiences.

Week 1 is already complete! We hope everyone has had a fantastic start to Term 3, and we'll see you next week for more exciting stories from around Prospect North Primary School.

This week, we're bringing you our final episode for Term 2!
It's been another fantastic term at Prospect North Primary School, and with so much happening around the school, this is one of our biggest episodes yet.

Meet Alfie:
We meet Sarah's therapy dog, Alfie, and learn about the important role therapy dogs play in supporting student wellbeing.

Personal Investigations:
Room 6 and Room 7 showcase the incredible arcade games they designed and built as part of their Personal Investigations.

Cooking with A3 & A4:
Students take us into the kitchen and show us how they make delicious fresh focaccia from scratch.

KESAB Visit:
Students learn about sustainability, recycling and waste management during an engaging visit from KESAB.

As part of National Reconciliation Week 2026, Prospect North Primary School proudly presents Connecting First Nations Stories Through Visual Arts.

Put together by our Visual Arts teacher Steph, this special segment explores the importance of storytelling, culture and connection through art, while recognising and celebrating First Nations perspectives and histories.

Through creativity and conversation, students were given the opportunity to reflect on the 2025 Reconciliation Week theme, “ALL IN”, and the importance of inclusion, understanding and respect within our community.

At Prospect North, we are proud to provide meaningful learning experiences that encourage student voice, cultural appreciation and creativity.

This week on PNTV Episode 242, A3 and A4 held their own World’s Greatest Morning Tea to raise money for the Cancer Council.

Students were able to use produce grown in our school garden to help create the event, making it a fantastic community effort from start to finish. A massive thank you to all the parents, staff and students who attended, supported and donated to such an important cause.

We also explored the theme of National Reconciliation Week 2025 — “ALL IN”.

Our student reporters interviewed students from across the school to hear what “ALL IN” means to them, with thoughtful responses around inclusion, teamwork, culture and community.

PNTV continues to celebrate student voice, creativity and meaningful learning experiences at Prospect North Primary School.
