As part of week, we were delighted to welcome Minister Alice Rolls, Minister for Child Protection and Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence into one of our Bower Education services.

As a former parent of Hyde Park Nursery School , it was wonderful to welcome Alice back and show her around, sharing the incredible work our educators do every day to support children and families. We appreciated the opportunity to discuss the importance of early learning and the vital role our sector plays in giving every child the best possible start 🚀

Early Learning Matters Week is here 🧡🍃
This week we are celebrating the incredible impact that early learning has on children, families and our communities. Every play experience, every conversation, every moment of curiosity helps build confident, capable learners for life.

At Bower Education, we know that early learning isn’t just important for one week, it is something we champion every single day. Here’s to the educators, families and children who make this journey so meaningful.

Last week, our centre came together to celebrate NAIDOC Week by honouring the rich cultures, histories and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. 🖤💛❤️
 
Across each learning environment, children engaged in meaningful experiences inspired by First Nations perspectives, through storytelling, art, music, nature, sensory play and conversations that fostered curiosity, respect and connection.

Exciting News for Families! 🚀

We are delighted to announce that our Ashgrove, Cranley, and Wanslea Preschools have joined the South Australian Government’s Flying Start Preschool Program for three year old children.

These centres join Wendy’s Preschool, which has been successfully delivering the Flying Start Program since the beginning of this year.

🍊🎨✨ Our toddlers are continuing their love for exploring fruit, colour, and creativity through hands-on art experiences!
 
Using real fruit to stamp, roll, press, and print, the children discovered different textures, patterns, and shapes while creating beautiful marks and colourful designs. 🌈🖍️
 
These playful experiences support fine motor skills, curiosity, sensory exploration, and creative expression, all while having so much fun! 🍋💛

🎨🍊✨ Creativity came to life in our Toddler space as the children designed their own table cloths using projected images of fruit and light.
 
Using a projector to cast colourful fruit images onto the table, the children explored mark making, colour, light, and shadow in a calm and engaging experience filled with curiosity and wonder. 🌈💡
 
This open-ended experience encouraged creativity, imagination, and exploration as the children followed the shapes, patterns, and colours in their own unique ways. 🍋🖍️
