🚧 Upcoming temporary road closures, Marleston

Everard Avenue and Barwell Avenue will temporarily close from 8pm Friday, 28 August as part of work for the River Torrens to Darlington Project.

📍 Everard Avenue: closed until October 2026
📍 Barwell Avenue: closed until November 2026
✅ South Road will remain open in both directions during the closures.

These closures will allow for the construction of the new sewer, water, telecommunications and stormwater infrastructure, as well as new temporary roads to facilitate work on the open motorway section of the project.

🚗 If you're travelling through the area, please plan ahead, allow extra time and follow on-site signage.

Heads up if you're driving on South Road this weekend 🚧

South Road will be closed between Richmond Road and Anzac Highway from 8pm Friday 24 July to 5am Monday 27 July, for T2D sewer and utility works.

🚗 Detours in place for all road users
🏘️ Local access maintained for residents
🚌 Bus services temporarily diverted

Allow extra time if you're heading that way or plan an alternate route.
