It's Principals' Day! 😀

Today we're celebrating the more than 500 public education principals across South Australia who make a positive difference in the lives of students, staff and families every day.

At SHS, we're fortunate to be led by our Principal, Danni Margan. Danni is a visionary and compassionate leader who consistently places the best outcomes for students at the heart of every decision. Her dedication, integrity and commitment to our school community inspire those around her each day.

School Dental Visit 🦷

The Australian Dental Foundation will visit Salisbury High School from Week 3 (Monday 3rd of August) offering no-out-of-pocket cost dental check-ups for all students regardless of their Medicare status.

You will receive a confirmation text or phone call closer to the visit time to confirm the appointment. Any student that was registered and seen by our service at the start of 2026 will be automatically rebooked and will not need to register again.

Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) 🌟

We are excited to be back to begin term 3! Each week we will continue to have a PBL focus, that promotes and reinforces our school values of Respect, Achievement and Kindness.

Our focus for week 1 is Strong Beginnings. This includes:
- being ready to learn and having all of our learning materials
- arriving on time
- attempting all set tasks

We look forward to students doing their best while demonstrating our school values of Respect, Achievement and Kindness.

National Reconciliation Week

Reconciliation doesn't happen just one week of the year – it's an active choice we make every single day.

Today marks the beginning of National Reconciliation Week (NRW), an annual opportunity to reflect on and recommit to our roles in the practice of reconciliation.

The 2026 National Reconciliation Week theme is All In: a call for every one of us to act and inspire change. This morning our students and staff came together to begin NRW with a Welcome to County and Didgeridoo performance by Luke and River from Kumakaaru.

Our students showed amazing engagement and respect for our visitors and we look forward to celebrating the week ahead together with a range of activities.
