After 33 years, our little Centre will be forever closing its doors on Thursday 25th January. In the many years our Centre has been here, the focus has always been on providing flexible, affordable and quality care and education for the youngest in our community and to support their families. It is with much sadness that we find the Centre in a position where it is simply no longer able to do this.
We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge our kind, caring and committed staff/educator team (past and present) who have dedicated themselves to their roles.
We would like to also thank all of the parents over the many years, who were part of our Management Committee. You have always been a strong advocate for our unique Centre's flexible/occasional care model and supported the Centre in anyway you could. It is greatly appreciated.
Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to give our deepest thanks to all of the families, past and present, who have supported us over the years and entrusted us with the role of caring for your precious children. We have immensely enjoyed being part of your lives and welcoming you to our Centre. We will miss being part of this little community very much but will close our doors with the fondest memories of our time at Fleurieu Occasional Community Children's Centre.
(Former children, families and staff are very welcome to pop in for a last visit at any time. We will be closed for the Christmas break from 22nd December and reopen Monday 8th January), with our final day being 25th January).

Thank you to our families (and friends!) for their support of our recent Schnitzel fundraiser night at the Crown Hotel Old Reynella. We raised $310 and have been purchasing some new resources from the children's 'wish list' 🙂
As a small, not-for-profit community based Centre, fundraising is a very important part of our budget and we really appreciate the support!
Thanks also to the Crown Hotel for hosting our group, it was a busy night! Crown Inn

We have had the Henny Penny Hatchlings program at our Centre. All the children have enjoyed learning about the chickens, caring for them and of course giving them a gentle pat. The children watched them being born and grow over the two weeks. They have very much enjoyed being involved in their care and giving them lots of cuddles! 🐥🐤🐣🐔😊
