A big thank you to all our amazing parents who volunteered their time to cook at our home soccer and netball games on our brand-new BBQ 🌭⚽️
Your help, support and community spirit are greatly appreciated and helped make the day a success.
We hope everyone enjoyed the delicious food and we look forward to many more game days using our fantastic new BBQ.

Walk Safely to School Day!
This national event encourages all students to walk and commute safely to school.
The initiative lies perfectly with our school’s focus on healthy brains.
Our SRC and Well Being Leaders greeted our students with healthy fruit platters to start the day.

In Room 16 we have been learning about narratives. The Snail and the Whale by Julia Donaldson is our mentor text. The children all made their own snails then designed something as an alternative to the whale, for it to explore the world in.

Warrarra Yarta,
Bellevue Heights Primary School National Park.
Greybox Grassy Woodlands.
Proudly supporting revegetation of the Adelaide Hills face.

Wondering what the yellow ribbons on our trees are for? They are definitely not there to show your love that you’re still keen. 💛

This Sunday is Grey Box Day and not only do the yellow ribbons draw our attention to the wonderful Grey Box trees we live amongst, but it’s also a reminder that you can get along to the State Flora nursery in the Belair National Park from 10-4pm and select your own tubestock from a range of plants, that are native plant species found in the Grey Box Grassy Woodland.

At the subsidised cost of six tubestock for $20 or 20 for $50 it’a great opportunity to help improve the biodiversity in our area.

On the day, information will be available about what to plant where, how to look after the plants, and w**d control.

There is also music, stalls from our local Friends of Parks and Nature groups and snacks.

Big thanks to the Grey Box Community Group and State Flora for creating awareness and for bringing community together to help our native vegetation.
