August is always full of lots of celebrations. Last week was National Science Week and now this week is Children’s Book Week!

At Inventor Kids we believe that you can combine the two celebrations. If you travelled past our Lab on Goodwood Road when we first opened, you may have seen some of our favourite STEM picture books in the window. These are now inside our shop for kids to read while they're waiting.

There are so many amazing books to inspire kids about STEM from picture books, chapter books, novels and non-fiction. Perhaps your child might even pick to dress up as their favourite character from a STEM themed picture book this week. The best of both worlds!

Last night we had the pleasure of attending the City of Unley Business Awards. It was an amazing celebration of business excellence in the local community. We were privileged to be named the City of Unley Emerging Business of the Year and I am still taking it in.

To the other finalists and every business put forward in the 1200 nominations, it is amazing to see such depth, expertise and heart within the local community.

Thankyou for having us to start off science week today. It was a pleasure sharing these activities with the children!

It was a pleasure starting off science week by sharing activites with our youngest learners. They participated so well by trying new things and made some amazing observations today. This will help them to have a strong connection to science as they move into their schooling years. Thankyou for having us!

|| CORAL REEF DISCOVERY ||

We were so excited to be able to discover the wonders of coral reefs recently. We were also so lucky to be able to bring it to life using one of the educational kits from the Nature Education Centre where we could investigate actual samples. What an experience.
