👩🏼⚕️VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITY 🧑⚕️
A group of the doctors, nurses and paramedics who regularly volunteer for Motorsport events including F1s, V8 supercars, World Superbikes and MotoGP (some of us since being students ourselves!) have recently put together a website. You can check it out at www.motorsportmedics.com.au to find out more about volunteering at Motorsport events all in one place.
There is an upcoming event the students might be interested in which is the World Superbikes season opener at Phillip Island at the end of February. It is a 3 day event in which those on the medical team will provide immediate track-side medical care to the riders participating in the event, particularly in collisions and assessing and implementing medical interventions as required. Training is provided, along with accommodation, food everyday for the track, two guest passes and a goodie bag. To sign up visit https://phillipislandcircuit.rosterfy.co/login Or they can follow us on facebook, instagram or sign up to the website to be emailed when there is a new opportunity. I have included some information below for you to forward out if you are keen to share with your students. There are socials after hours and great networking to be had. It is lots of fun!
