Bike Day! 🚲🛴

Our children had a fantastic time on Bike Day, bringing their bikes and scooters to enjoy active outdoor play with their peers.

Through riding and exploring, children developed their balance, coordination, gross motor skills, and confidence, while also practising sharing, turn-taking, and safe riding.

It was wonderful to see their excitement, independence, and enjoyment throughout the experience!

Recently, our Chef Tayla held a culinary class in the Nursery environment.

The children explored a variety of fresh fruits, with trays of juicy oranges and strawberries, as well as mandarins and kiwis!

This hands-on experience provided opportunities for our little learners to safely explore taste, texture, colour, smell, and new flavours while encouraging sensory exploration and positive mealtime experiences!

Our Junior Kindy children explored the beauty of nature by observing a real wattle flower and creating their own paintings inspired by what they saw.

Sustainability in Action!

Our Kindy children explored sustainability through a hands-on sorting experience, identifying everyday materials that belong in the recycling or landfill bins.

As they sorted and discussed their choices, children developed an understanding of responsible waste management and why caring for our environment matters.

🍕 Toddler One Pizza Parlour 🍕

To extend on their interest in role play, the Toddler One children opened their very own pizza parlour.

They took turns being the pizza chef, then switched roles to become the customer. The children enjoyed pretending to order, cook, and serve pizzas, fully engaging in imaginative play.

This experience supported imaginative thinking and creativity through pretend play, social bonding as children took turns and interacted in shared roles, and language development through ordering, responding, and role‑play conversations.

🐯 International Tiger Day! 🐯

Recently at Valley View, we celebrated International Tiger Day!

The Educators invited the children to design and create their own tiger masks, experimenting with black crayons and orange watercolour to paint their tiger faces.

Through this experience, the children developed their creativity, imagination, fine motor skills, language, communication skills, and confidence as they expressed their ideas through art.
