From 22 August to 28 August, we celebrated Book Week 2026 as we shared in the magic of books, stories, and imagination, inspiring a lifetime love of reading and storytelling 📖 ✨

Celebrating this year’s theme, ‘Symphony of Stories’, our Educators and children stepped out of the pages of their favourite stories, bringing their beloved characters to life with vibrant colours and costumes.

Today we had our second class with Cool Kids First Aid for our Kindy Rooms 🧑‍⚕️👩‍⚕️

This lesson was all about what happens when we are ill and need to go to the hospital. We were able to explore masks, a heart rate monitor, and a stethoscope to listen to our hearts 💚

This hands-on learning helps our children understand emergency services and the equipment that may be used at the hospital.

The children had some great questions and were very engaged in their learning!

📚✨ BOOK WEEK FUN! ✨📚

It’s Book Week, and what better way to celebrate than by diving into the wonderful world of books!

Books are so much more than stories, they are little adventures that help children learn, imagine, wonder, and grow.

Through books, children develop:

🗣️ Language & communication – discovering new words and learning how to express ideas
🧠 Thinking skills – making predictions, solving problems, and asking questions
🎨 Creativity & imagination – exploring new worlds, characters, and possibilities
💞 Emotional understanding – recognising feelings, empathy, and different perspectives
🌍 Knowledge about the world – learning about people, places, cultures, animals, and so much more!

🧊💦 Science Week: Ice + Warm Water = Big Discoveries! 💦🧊

Today, we became little scientists and explored what happens when ice meets warm water!

The children used their senses, made predictions, watched closely, and shared their ideas as the ice slowly changed 🔬

“Will it melt faster?”
“What happens if we add more warm water?”
“Why is the ice getting smaller?”

There were plenty of WOW! moments, curious questions, and hands-on discoveries along the way!

Science is all about wondering, experimenting, and discovery. Our little scientists had so much fun doing exactly that! 🔎
