Father’s Day at SFX 💙

This morning we had a wonderful time celebrating Father’s Day at SFX with all the fathers and father figures in our community. From our delicious sausage sizzle to drawing, skipping and Fun Friday dancing, the morning was filled with plenty of love, laughter and special moments. 💙

Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible people who provide love, care and support to the students of SFX. Your role in their lives is truly valued and appreciated. ✨

Whether you’re a father, guardian, grandparent, or someone who provides love and guidance, thank you for everything you do and the positive impact you have on our students.

Book Week 2026 📚🎶

It was wonderful to see our students and staff embrace the magic of Book Week, with this year’s theme, “Symphony of Stories.” 🎼📖

As always, the Book Week Parade was a highlight, with so many parents, carers, grandparents, friends and family joining us to celebrate our love of books and reading. 💙

We certainly know how to do Book Week at SFX, and we’re so proud of the creativity, enthusiasm and sense of community shown throughout the week. At the heart of Book Week is a love of reading, and it has been fantastic to see our classes engaging! 📚💫

A wonderful example of Service in action! 📚❤️

When our library was packed up, prior to demolition, in late 2025, a number of books were set aside with the hope they could find a new home where they would continue to inspire young readers. ✨

This week, thanks to a friend of an SFX staff member volunteering as a teacher in Fiji, some of these books have reached a school community in need. It's heartwarming to see them already being enjoyed by junior primary students, giving these stories a new chapter and continuing their journey of learning and discovery. 🌏📖

We warmly invite the Fathers and Father figures in our SFX community to join their child/ren for a special morning of fun, dancing, and a sausage sizzle as we celebrate the important role they play in our lives.

⏰ 8:00–8:50am

This is a wonderful opportunity to spend some quality time together and create special memories before the school day begins.

Please RSVP by Thursday, 3 September by replying to the "Father's Day Celebration" email sent to all families on 21 August.

Choose from a range of gifts priced at $5 or $10! Pre-payment is available via the QKR app by Tuesday, 1st September, at 11:59pm.

Students are also welcome to bring cash on the day in an envelope that is clearly labelled with their details.
