Following an internal promotion, we are looking for a Uniform Shop Manager to oversees the smooth operation of the Temple Christian College uniform shop at both Mile End and Paralowie, and supports uniform supply for our Marion Middle School. Covering three days a week over 43 weeks a year, based at the Mile End Campus, this role fits neatly within school hours. BECOMING YOUNG ADULTS – THE RITE JOURNEY BEGINS
The Rite Journey Calling and Departure Ceremony is a special opportunity for our school community to invite our Year 9’s on a journey of learning, growth and change as they leave childhood behind and embark on the journey to adulthood. The students reflect on their childhood and write and exchange letters expressing gratitude to their parents for the many ways they have loved, nurtured and cared for them. The evening features an opportunity for students to symbolically leave an element of childish behaviour behind them as they throw a pebble into the sea. We are thankful for this beautiful opportunity to reflect as a community on God’s forgiveness, grace and guidance on the journey ahead as the sun sets on childhood – the future ahead of our precious Year 9’s is bright!

Showcasing the full educational experience from ELC to Middle School, this evening will feature interactive displays, Principal’s Tours, live performances along with hospitality from the Sunrise Coffee Van and food stalls from OMG Doughnuts and the Parent Group. 2025 PRESENTATION EVENING
A big thank you to our Sunrise Christian School Marion and Temple Christian College Marion Middle School community for a great night of thanksgiving at our recent 2025 Presentation Evening. What a joy it is to be able to celebrate the amazing gifts and talents of both students and staff. Congratulations to our graduating Year 9 cohort who will be starting their next chapter at Temple Christian College Mile End Campus in 2026. God bless you in this next season of High School education.

A MASTERPIECE OF DESIGN & TECHNIQUE
For his Year 9 Design & Technologies major project, Jaedon created this chess set. Using a blend of traditional and advanced manufacturing techniques, Jaedon constructed the chess board from reclaimed jarrah, pine, and Tasmanian oak, complete with magnets set underneath each square. He 3D printed the chess pieces and laser cut the felt bottoms, as well as the drawer divider below which neatly stores the pieces. A marvel of craftsmanship, Jaedon should be proud of the work he has accomplished, a fine example of the outworking of the Technology Design Process at Temple Christian College Marion Middle School.

THE RITE JOURNEY HOMECOMING CELEBRATIONS FOR OUR YEAR 9 STUDENTS
A highlight of our Year 9 Rite Journey program is the Homecoming Celebration - a night where students, parents and mentors come together to reflect on and celebrate the milestones and achievements of each student throughout the year. The Year 9's each share a speech they have prepared describing the lessons they have learned, the growth they have experienced and the people they would like to be in the future.

We are so proud of our Year 9's and the way they have embraced Rite Journey this year, and we pray God continues to guide and direct them as they embark on the next stage in their schooling journey.

CELEBRATING COMMUNITY AT THE CHRISTMAS MARKET
The Sunrise Christian School & Temple Christian College Marion Middle School Parent Group organised the 2025 Christmas Market as one of their fundraising initiatives for the year. We were so excited to have partnered with the 20 stall holders who came along and took part in this event. Despite the torrential rain on Saturday, we were blessed to have hosted a few hundred guests. The Christmas Market was a great success. A big thank you to all of our volunteers who helped make this day a wonderful community event.
