The Natural Atelier is Open

This morning, our Leadership Triangle had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Haper’s Field Community Centre to view the artwork created by our talented children as part of The Natural Atelier exhibition.

Seeing the children's creativity displayed within a community exhibition space was a proud and inspiring moment. What began as a classroom inquiry project has grown into a beautiful showcase of imagination, exploration, and connection with the natural world.

The Natural Atelier – Inspired by Nature, Created by Children, we encourage families and members of our community to visit and experience this special exhibition. If you attend, we would love to see your photos alongside the children's artwork, so please feel free to share them with us and celebrate this wonderful achievement with our community.

A huge thank you City of Tea Tree Gully for helping us with this project, and @ Megan's Crafts and Creations for helping with the Signs

A little sneak peek at some of the beautiful artwork that will be delivered to our Harpers Field Community Hub on Tuesday!

I am incredibly excited to deliver these pieces, along with 17 additional artworks, and proudly showcase our Nido brand within the community. The following Monday 15th June at 9am, I will have the opportunity to visit the official opening of The Natural Atelier Art Exhibition and see our children's creativity celebrated in a public space.

We are so proud of what our children have created through this project. Their imagination, creativity, and connection to nature shine through every piece, and we can't wait for the wider community to experience their amazing work.

Parents and families are more than welcome to visit the centre, view the artwork.
The centre is generally open from 9:00am to 4:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, with occasional later opening hours when evening programs are running.

🦖 Dino Rangers Visit! 🦕

Today, the children in Classroom 1, Classroom 2, and Classroom 3 had an exciting opportunity to further explore their interest in dinosaurs through the Dino Rangers Incursion!

The children learned about different types of dinosaurs, what they ate, and how they lived. There were lots of smiles, laughter, and excitement as the children roared like dinosaurs, touched and fed them, and even helped brush their teeth!

This exciting experience was a wonderful way to extend the children's learning and interests, creating memorable moments while encouraging curiosity, engagement, and discovery.

What a ROAR-some day! 🦖✨

Because at Nido, every day matters. 🧡

🌾🐄 A Wonderful Farm Animal Experience with Farmer Darcy 🐐🦙

What an incredible day we had today with Farmer Darcy at Redwood Park! The children were so excited to explore, engage with, feed, and gently pat a wonderful variety of rescued and hand-raised farm animals. From chickens, calf cows, llamas, ducks, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and lambs, every animal brought so much joy, curiosity, and excitement to the children.

The children were fascinated watching the animals up close, learning about how they are cared for, and hearing their rescue stories. The experience created so many smiles, conversations, and special moments while helping the children build confidence, empathy, and a deeper connection with animals and nature through hands-on learning and play.

A huge thank you to Farmer Darcy for providing such a memorable and meaningful experience for our children ❤️

Inspired by a beautiful idea shared by another Nido service, we recently reached out to Modbury Hospital’s paediatric emergency department to see if they would appreciate some donated books from our service and families.

The kindness and generosity shown by our families was heartwarming, and today Ashley, our ESM, and I had the privilege of delivering the books to the hospital.

It was such a lovely reminder of how small acts of kindness can bring comfort and joy to others within our community.
