The 2026 National Reconciliation Week theme, All In, reminds us that reconciliation is not something to observe from the sidelines. It calls on all Australians to commit wholeheartedly, take responsibility, and actively contribute to meaningful change.

NRW invites All to reflect on our shared histories, acknowledge difficult truths, and consider what meaningful relationships, respect, and responsibility look like moving forward.

At Nik&Co., we believe reconciliation is strengthened through education grounded in truth-telling, reflection, and action.

To support learning during NRW, Nik&Co. is offering a special Learning Bundle: Buy One, Get One Free micro-course offer through the Nik&Co. E-Learning Hub.

National Apology: Understanding the Stolen Generations Learning Bundle 25/05/2026

It was the beginning of a national responsibility.

The Apology acknowledged the pain, grief, and injustice experienced by the Stolen Generations โ€” children taken from families, culture, Country, language, and identity through government policies that caused lasting harm.

But truth-telling must lead somewhere.
It must lead to deeper understanding.
It must challenge silence, stereotypes, and denial.
It must shape how we lead, learn, work, and act today.

This National Apology, Nik&Co. invites individuals, teams, and organisations to move beyond remembrance and into responsibility through the National Apology: Understanding the Stolen Generations Learning Bundle.

Through The Stolen Generations in Australia and Smashing Stereotypes and Demystifying Myths, this learning bundle supports learners to understand the truth of history, recognise its ongoing impacts, and build the confidence to challenge harmful assumptions in everyday environments.

Because remembrance without responsibility risks becoming symbolic.

But truth, when understood and acted upon, can create change.
Learn the truth. Challenge the myths. Carry the responsibility forward.

Real growth happens when we create space to pause, reflect, and reimagine the future.

Honoured to represent Nik&Co. Consultancy in a room of inspiring First Nations business leaders, each committed to building something greaterโ€”not just for today, but for generations to come.

This is what reconciliation in action looks likeโ€”investment in people, knowledge, and community-led success.

National Close the Gap Day asks us to face an uncomfortable truth โ€” in a country as resourced as Australia, significant disparities still exist for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

These gaps did not happen by accident. They were shaped by policies, systems, and decisions over generations. And if systems created them, systems must help address them โ€” but so must individuals within them.

At Nik&Co., we believe meaningful change begins with informed learning โ€” whether youโ€™re an individual seeking understanding or an organisation committed to action.

If youโ€™re reflecting on what responsibility looks like in your workplace, leadership, or personal journey, we invite you to explore our learning platform at learn.nikandco.com.au ๐ŸŒฟ

From Remembering to Responsibility 12/02/2026

National Apology Day is more than a date on the calendar โ€” itโ€™s a reminder of history, loss, and resilience. ๐ŸŒฟ

While the National Apology acknowledged the Stolen Generations, the responsibility to act didnโ€™t end there. Remembering is essential, but responsibility is what creates change:

Listening to lived experiences

Challenging systemic inequity

Embedding cultural safety in our workplaces and communities

At Nik&Co., we guide organisations in moving from remembrance to responsible action, helping teams turn awareness into meaningful, ongoing reconciliation.

๐Ÿ‘‰ This National Apology Day, reflect on how your organisation is taking responsibility. Explore learning pathways with Nik&Co.

Today is not one story โ€” it is many.

We encourage reflection, listening, and learning about histories that are too often overlooked. Education builds understanding; understanding builds empathy; empathy builds respect; respect builds trust; and trust builds relationships.

Without truth, reconciliation is not possible. Truth-telling is not about blame โ€” it is about understanding the past so we can walk forward with greater respect and shared responsibility.

Wherever you are today, may you choose curiosity over comfort.
