Grateful for the amazing and kind people I get to teach. While I'm on a little break for medical reasons, I received this beautiful card with beautiful words. I must be doing something right.

Exercise is one of the best habits you can create for yourself... but let's be honest—it can be hard to get started. The secret isn't finding the perfect workout. It's finding something you genuinely enjoy. Dance. Yoga. Walking. Swimming. Strength training. Whatever gets you moving and makes you want to come back.

Here's something else to remember: people who exercise consistently don't always feel like exercising. They've simply created systems that help them stay on track. They schedule it in their calendar, set reminders, lay out their workout clothes, or meet a friend for accountability. They show up even on the days they don't feel motivated. Because they know that motivation comes and goes, but habits keep us moving.

Start small. One class. One walk. One workout at a time.

Every time you show up, you're proving to yourself that you can. And more often than not, you'll leave feeling happier, stronger, and grateful that you did.
Your future self will thank you. 💚

🧶🧘‍♀️ What does crochet have to do with yoga?
More than you might think...
Recently, I realised that crochet and yoga share some beautiful life lessons.
✨ 1. Practice makes perfect
When you first begin, everything feels unfamiliar. Your hands (or your body!) don't quite know what to do, and every movement requires your full attention. It can feel awkward, but every expert was once a beginner.
✨ 2. Learning from mistakes
As you gain experience, you begin to notice when something isn't quite right. Instead of feeling frustrated, you learn to pause, gently undo what's needed, and keep going. Both crochet and yoga teach us that mistakes are part of the journey—not something to fear.
✨ 3. Finding joy
The more you practise, the more enjoyable it becomes. Your movements become more natural, your confidence grows, and you can simply enjoy the process rather than worrying about getting everything perfect.
✨ 4. Being present
Whether you're following a crochet pattern or flowing through a yoga sequence, your attention settles on what you're doing right now. Stitch by stitch. Breath by breath. It's a chance to let go of yesterday, put tomorrow's to-do list on hold, and simply be present.
Maybe that's why both practices feel so therapeutic. They remind us that growth doesn't happen overnight—it happens one stitch, one breath, and one practice at a time. 💚
Have you ever noticed a hobby that brings you into the present moment?

Dance is much cheaper than therapy. You listen to good music, you move your body to the groove, you get together with a bunch of great people. It doesn't take much. It's a physical activity, it boosts your mood and get you the chance to find new friends. Have you danced today?

Send it to that person that you want to bring to dance with you.

I love being a movement teacher because I love dance, yoga and fitness. But most of all, I love people. I love that we connect, learn together and laugh. Being on a teaching break is making me miss all these amazing people that I get to see every week. Looking forward to see these friendly faces again soon.

A dance class doesn't need too be complicated. if you enjoy dancing, just dance. If you're not too confident, give it a try. The key is to keep the choreography as simple as can be, so that while dancing, you can enjoy it.

On the video, a sample of how the class works:
1- Teach the steps
2- Practice with music
3- Repeat the combination of steps
