The title of the Dr. Seuss book says it all: Oh, the Places You Will Go!
Earlier this term, our relieving principal Emily Shumack attended a Principal Induction Conference where one of the presenters was Dr. Leticia Anderson, a former Adaminaby Public School student. Dr. Anderson fondly recalled participating in school performances and the Easter Hat Parade.
Here’s part of the blurb from Leticia’s LinkedIn page:
'I hold a PhD in Peace and Conflict Studies and have been recognised for excellence in teaching, research, and community engagement. I publish research, contribute to thought leadership, and deliver keynote addresses on inclusion, anti-racism, and leadership for equity.
I am passionate about advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, and about strengthening public education as a transformative force for students, teachers, and communities. I help leaders develop the skills, knowledge, and mindsets to lead change that is equitable, sustainable, and impactful.'
Adaminaby students, whether you are with us briefly or for your entire primary years, we love hearing about how our school community has impacted your learning journey—oh, the places you will go!
