We have been busy at OLOF! Last week, we had the workers from Bulldogg Fencing install a brand new fence at the back of the school to secure the school grounds and help keep our students safe.

When the fence was finished on Friday, the students and staff met the workers to thank them for their hard work.

From now on, the gates from the Church and Parent Car Park will be closed between 8:45am and 2:45pm on school days.

On Saturday 24th July, the Parents and Friends Group (PFG) held a "Paint-a-pole" party. This was a wonderful opportunity for members of the OLOF community, both families and staff, to work together and freshen up the poles in the school.

The adults sanded and painted poles, while the students painted pavers to add to the school gardens. All who attended enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere with music and a pizza feast.

As the saying goes, "teamwork makes the dream work!" A big thank you to the PFG members, Mrs Cheesman and the team for organising this great event. Thank you to the families who were able to join in. Thank you also to Leeanne Enoch MP for donating a prize for this event.

Keep an eye out for future opportunities to engage with the OLOF PFG. Your help will be truly valued.

Yesterday Our Lady of Fatima School held our Catholic Education Week celebration. We began with Mass in the Church, followed by Open Classrooms.

The Year 3 students have been exploring rhyming words in the book "The Littlest Airplane". When the Year 3 parents and grandparents visited the classroom, they joined with the students to create rhyming words for 'bat', 'it' and 'ring'. Wait until you see the long list of words!
