💜 Meet Tahlia! 💜

Tahlia is one of our wonderful Trainee Educators at Kids Cave Early Education Aberglasslyn and is celebrating almost 10 months with our team this September! 🌿

What Tahlia loves most about working at Kids Cave is watching the children grow, learn and become more confident within themselves. Her favourite experiences to create are playdough and sensory play, and you’ll often find her enjoying outdoor adventures with the children. 🌻🫧

A few fun facts about Tahlia:

Are you ready to begin a rewarding career in Early Childhood Education?

Kids Cave Early Education Aberglasslyn is looking for an enthusiastic and caring Trainee Educator to join our supportive team. You’ll gain paid, hands-on experience while completing your Certificate III traineeship—earning while you learn!

No previous childcare experience is required. We’re looking for someone who is:

💚 18 years or older
💚 Reliable, positive and eager to learn
💚 Genuinely passionate about working with children
💚 Ready to become part of a friendly and supportive team
💚 Able to obtain and maintain a Working with Children Check

🐛🍎 The Very Hungry Caterpillar Comes to Life! 📚🦋

As part of our Book Week celebrations at Kids Cave Aberglasslyn, the children enjoyed a hands-on experience inspired by the much-loved story The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

The children fed the hungry caterpillar while identifying different foods, practising their counting and recalling parts of the story. This playful experience encouraged early literacy, communication, fine-motor skills and imaginative thinking.

We can’t wait to see which story comes to life next! 💚

🌿 Meet Our Wonderful Educator, April 🌿

April has been a valued part of our Kids Cave Aberglasslyn family for the past eight months, working as an Early Childhood Teacher. 💚💛

What April treasures most about Kids Cave is the special relationships she has built with our children and their families. Her kind and gentle nature helps children feel safe, supported, and encouraged as they learn and grow.

April particularly loves creating sensory experiences and painting activities where children can explore, express themselves and let their creativity shine. 🎨✨

Outside of Kids Cave, April enjoys spending time at the beach and hiking through the forest. Her favourite children’s book is *The Very Hungry Caterpillar*, and her favourite animal is a hamster! 🐹

We feel incredibly lucky to have April as part of our Kids Cave family. Thank you, April, for the warmth, care and happiness you bring to our service each day. 🐞💚

Our dinosaur stories have roared to life! The children explored a prehistoric small-world experience inspired by our Book Week reading, using their imaginations to recreate stories and embark on their own dinosaur adventures.

Experiences like this help children develop their language, creativity and love of books by connecting storytelling with hands-on play.
