Pilgrim School is part of the very exciting Aberfoyle Park Primary School Campus which is situated in the southern suburbs of Adelaide

Pilgrim is a delightful Christian primary school for children from Foundation to Year 7, with an enrolment of just under 200 students. At Pilgrim we believe a Christian life encompasses character, integrity and compassion as well as academic development. We are a community where students Belong, Explore, Flourish and Serve. Our dedicated staff seek to develop each child's God-given potential in an atmosphere of love, care, discipline and responsibility. Pilgrim School is part of the very exciting Aberfoyle Park Primary School Campus which opened in February, 1982, and is situated in the southern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia. Pilgrim School has primary school students from a variety of suburbs, including nearby Flagstaff Hill, Happy Valley, Woodcroft, Morphett Vale, Clarendon and O'Halloran Hill. For all past students of Pilgrim Primary School, and the parents of past and current students.

Four days, two ferry rides and a whole lot of Year 6 firsts. 🦘

Our Year 6s explored Kangaroo Island with lots of eagerness and sandy shoes. They met a living beehive, flew down the dunes at Little Sahara, watched sea lions up close at Seal Bay and spent a day wandering Flinders Chase National Park. They headed home with stories to tell and a lot of sand to empty out of their bags.

Camp was a great opportunity for our students to step outside their comfort zones and also gain a deeper appreciation for God’s creation.

Thank you to our teachers and all those who helped to make it a camp our students won’t forget. 💛

Thank you to our wonderful Year 2 parents for giving our students the chance to pick out something special for Father's Day in Term 3!

A huge thank you to our Class Liaisons, Laura, Cindy and Gerard, for coordinating the stall, and to Megan, Erin and Logan for helping wrap all the gifts. Thanks also to our amazing helpers on the day: Bron, Leah, Megan, Michelle, Erin, Anna and Trish.

Our Year 6 students once again hosted a wonderful Connections Cafe! Parents, grandparents and friends joined us for tea, coffee and delicious baked goods, all made using produce grown in our very own Friendship Garden.

A lovely reminder that our community truly lives its values,Belonging over cups of tea, Exploring new connections, Flourishing together, and Serving one another! It was the perfect opportunity for great conversation, complete with special musical performances from our talented students. 🎶

Our students have been busy! To celebrate the upcoming wedding of Miss McKennall and Mr Ledson, some of their students shared their words of advice, told us what they think love is, and drew what they imagine the big day will look like.

From wedding dresses to wobbly bow ties, we think they've captured it perfectly. 🥰

Our Foundation to Year 4 classes recently visited the State Aquatic Centre in Marion for Aquatic Education lessons, and the sun was shining all week!

Students practised valuable skills such as organising themselves independently, looking after their belongings, and building resilience and confidence in the water. There were goggles galore and towels in every colour, with plenty of laughter along the way!

In the pool, students worked on water safety skills like blowing bubbles, floating on their backs, freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and even duck diving for sticks and goggles. By the end of the week, things were quieter, but everyone was still smiling about all the fun they'd had.

We were so privileged to host the Watoto Choir for worship! From vibrant singing and dancing that had our students on their feet to powerful personal stories of hope and new life, it was a morning our school community won't forget.

One song said it best: "God's not done with me yet." 🙏 A beautiful reminder that no matter our story, God is still at work in each of us.

What a colourful day!

On Friday 11th of September, Pilgrim School celebrated Wellbeing Day with an Indonesian theme, and our students brought the celebration to life, wearing vibrant colours, flying handmade kites, creating chalk murals together, and pausing for reflection and prayer at stations across the campus.

A highlight for many was tasting authentic Indonesian food, adding a rich cultural flavour to a day all about creativity, connection and wellbeing. Thank you to our incredible staff and volunteers who made it such a memorable experience. Sampai jumpa! 🇮🇩

The Year 6 students brought their annual Bali Life Stalls to life on Thursday and Friday of Week 8. After spending the term planning, budgeting, and advertising, they enjoyed selling their homemade treats, crafts, and games to raise money for the Bali Life organisation.

It was wonderful to see their hard work and enthusiasm come together, with the students selling a large number of items across the two days. A big thank you to everyone who supported the Year 6s by purchasing something from the stalls.
