🧡 Bullying? No Way! 🧡
This week, Aberfeldie Primary School joined schools across Australia for the National Week of Action Against Bullying.

Throughout the week, students explored what bullying means and discussed practical strategies they can use if they experience bullying. These included:�• Ignoring and walking away�• Acting confidently�• Seeking a safe place�• Talking to friends�• Reporting it to a trusted adult
Our Year 3–6 students were also challenged to create a poster featuring a message that was important to them. Their posters provided a great opportunity for students to use their voices and share positive messages about kindness, respect and standing up against bullying.
At Aberfeldie, we want every student to feel safe, supported and valued.
Our message is clear: “Bullying? No Way!” 🧡

CANTEEN NEWS! Following a student survey, our school canteen will now be offering party pies, mini sausage rolls, and cinnamon doughnuts!

The canteen is open every Wednesday at lunchtime, raising much-needed funds for our school improvement initiatives. Want to volunteer and get involved? Reach out to our school office!

What a great Saturday at our Ladies Afternoon Fundraiser!

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, purchased raffle tickets, and helped make the event such a wonderful success. It was fantastic to see our community come together for an afternoon of great food, laughter, and connection.

A special thank you to Saros Bar and Dining for hosting us and providing the perfect venue for the event. We are also grateful to the talented photographer at ‘The A List Photographers’.

⭐️ Fundraiser Alert⭐️

We invite all mothers, carers, grandmothers and friends of Aberfeldie Primary School to join us for our annual Ladies Afternoon Fundraiser.
Last year, more than 60 members of our community came together for a wonderful afternoon of connection, celebration and fundraising to support improvements at our school. We would love to see even more familiar and new faces this year!

🎟️ Tickets are on sale now and close on 12 June.
Can't make it on the day? You can still support the fundraiser by purchasing raffle tickets. We have some incredible prizes up for grabs, and every ticket sold helps raise valuable funds for our students and school.

Coming soon! Thanks to our 2025 fundraising efforts, a brand new bike shed will be installed in the coming weeks at the front of the school in a previously unused area.

This fantastic addition will give students a safe and convenient place to park their bikes and scooters while making great use of the space. A huge thank you to everyone who supported our fundraising initiatives and helped make this possible!
