⭐️ Fundraiser Alert⭐️
We invite all mothers, carers, grandmothers and friends of Aberfeldie Primary School to join us for our annual Ladies Afternoon Fundraiser.
Last year, more than 60 members of our community came together for a wonderful afternoon of connection, celebration and fundraising to support improvements at our school. We would love to see even more familiar and new faces this year!
🎟️ Tickets are on sale now and close on 12 June.
Can't make it on the day? You can still support the fundraiser by purchasing raffle tickets. We have some incredible prizes up for grabs, and every ticket sold helps raise valuable funds for our students and school.
We look forward to sharing a fantastic afternoon with our Aberfeldie community!

💚 Congratulations to Tiger Quoll House, who celebrated their SWPBS token victory with an out-of-uniform day and custom house wristbands!
At Aberfeldie Primary School, we use collective rewards to recognise positive behaviour and strengthen our sense of community. By working together towards a shared goal, students learn the importance of teamwork, responsibility and supporting one another to achieve success.

Coming soon! Thanks to our 2025 fundraising efforts, a brand new bike shed will be installed in the coming weeks at the front of the school in a previously unused area.
This fantastic addition will give students a safe and convenient place to park their bikes and scooters while making great use of the space. A huge thank you to everyone who supported our fundraising initiatives and helped make this possible!

We were delighted to welcome Moonee Valley Mayor Dr Rose Iser, and Councillors Samantha Byrne and Hamish Jones to present to our Year 5/6 students.
As part of their Humanities unit, students have been learning about the different levels of government and the important roles they play in our community. Our visitors shared insights into their work within Moonee Valley City Council, answered thoughtful student questions, and even ran a mock council meeting so students could experience local government decision-making firsthand.
Thank you for helping bring our learning to life! 👏🏛️

This Education Week, we are opening our classrooms to parents and carers to showcase student learning and progress. Students are preparing to share their workbooks, assignments, and other pieces of work they are proud of. This is a wonderful opportunity for families to celebrate student achievements, gain insight into classroom learning, and engage in their child’s educational journey.
