Cape Coast Slave Castle.
Like Elmina Slavs Castle, Cape Coast Castle was originally built for trading timber, but became another popular stop on the trans-Atlantic slave trade. The castle was built in 1653 by Sweden. Over 12 million slaves were shipped out of Cape Coast Castle to supply labor for the New World.
