This week in we are happy to introduce Magdalena Berger, our new PhD student and Research Project Assistant!
Magdalena is a dedicated human geographer whose research delves into the intersection of climate change, cultural heritage, and adaptation strategies among indigenous communities. As part of the CuHeMo project, she focuses on agro-pastoralist communities in Ethiopia’s South Omo Valley, with a particular interest in how gendered knowledge systems impact women’s resilience to climate change.
