English Box Of Tricks

English Box Of Tricks English Box of Tricks is an entertaining, theatre in education company who hold fun English interactive plays and workshops for children aged 9 to 18.

Our themed workshops and plays are fun packed, action filled, quick fire pedagogical sessions where the children participate in English, speaking it in a non- academic environment. They simultaneously improve their aural and verbal English skills as they join in the theatre piece’s games, quizzes and team-focused activities. We are experienced in the theatre combining our skills as practitioners and language trainers. Our workshops are engaging because they’re so entertaining! We include exciting and fun English games and songs for the children to participate in each production. The workshops/theatre pieces carry a theme that flows throughout. For example, we may choose “going on holiday.” So all of the songs and games are tied in around that theme. In “Back to the Board,” we might draw a deckchair or an aeroplane. In “Chinese Whispers” we might give them “she sells seashells on the seashore.”
