FS Germany Day 4 🇩🇪

After successfully passing the DV Scrutineering, Brake and Rain Test we came across some issues while attempting the EBS. After some fixes and the FSG lunch break we pushed the EDGE17 back and passed on the first try. This marks the second year that we are able to drive driverless here at FSG. 🔥

Due to time constraints we did not compete in the DV Autocross. Next up was DV Acceleration where we got a DNF during our first run and ran out of time for the second one while already waiting in the queue. Even though we did not get any valid runs for that we were still able to compete in DV Skidpad and finished both runs - a proud proud moment for the entire team! 🧡

The day ended with the Manual Night SkidPad discipline where we were also able to set some good times! 🏎️

FS Germany Day 3 🇩🇪

The third day here at FSG was full with Statics and (re) Scrutineerings. We started out with the Cost Report & Engineering Design Event early in the morning. The third static discipline Business Plan was held a bit later that day. 💻

Besides the presentation we prepared the car for the Electrical and Driverless Scrutineering. We were able to pass the E-Scruti and start the DV one. Due to time constraints we had to push the car out without the sticker for now but we will be back first thing today, on day 4! Stay tuned! 🧡

FS Germany Recap Day 1 & 2 🇩🇪

After almost 11 hours of driving we finally arrived at the Hockenheimring here in Germany and set up our camp right away. ⛺️

On Tuesday we started out with moving into our pit - pit 28 🏠 Right after that we pushed into the Mechanical and then later the Accumulator Scrutineering. While we managed to pass the Accu Scruti yesterday we had to go back for the Mech Scruti today - we passed! ⚙️

First on our schedule today though was the Electrical Scrutineering. ⚡️ Unfortunately we ran out of time and were not able to finish it today - we will push into the re-scruti tomorrow. On another note, all of our drivers passed the driver egress and are officially ready for the track! 🏎️

Every spare minute not spent in the pit is used to prepare for the Static Events which will be held tomorrow - fingers crossed! 🤞🏼

FSA Recap Day 4 🇦🇹

Yesterday was all about SkidPad, Acceleration, and Autocross. Early that morning we pushed into the practice area and right after attempted our first Acceleration run. Unfortunately during that run we encountered a problem with one of our motors. Fixing it took a while and we ran out of time to do our other runs for both, SkidPad and Acceleration. Our amazing pit crew was able to find and fix the problem a bit later and with that we were able to do all 4 runs of Autocross. 🔥🧡

After the static events our pit crew kept working on our EDGE17 to make sure that we will pass the rest of the scrutineerings - the rain and brake test. We passed them! 🔥

Yesterday morning was all about the static events Engineering Design, Cost Report, and Business Plan. ✔️

Unfortunately, we didn't make it to the finals but we are very proud of our presenters and scores and what we have accomplished! 🧡
