First, we golpe (tap) the rhythm. Then we transfer it to the strings and add the chords.

A simple way to understand the typical Rumba feel and put everything together.

Reggae rhythm guitar pattern 🎸

1. Slap the strings and guitar top with your open hand

2. Downstroke *

3. Chuck: play a downstroke while muting the strings with the side of your palm

4. Downstroke *

* After downstrokes 2 and 4, slightly release the pressure of your barre chord with your left hand. This immediately mutes the strings and creates the typical short, staccato reggae sound. 🌴

Chords: Bm – A – Em

Once the basic rhythm feels comfortable, you can add your own variations.

Asturias (Leyenda) Ein absoluter Klassiker auf der Gitarre, der hier auf dem Kanal natürlich nicht fehlen darf! 🎸

Das Intro wird mit der „Ayudado“-Technik gespielt. Daumen und Zeigefinger wechseln sich ab, wobei der Daumen die eigentliche Melodiestimme spielt. Der Daumen spielt also etwas lauter, der Zeigefinger ist die Begleitung (leiser).

5er Rasgueado in der Soleá 🎸

Die Bewegung:

1. kleiner Finger runter,
2. Ringfinger runter,
3. Mittelfinger runter,
4. Zeigefinger runter,
5. Zeigefinger wieder zurück.

Das eigentliche Geheimnis liegt aber nicht nur im Anschlag selbst.

Wichtig ist, dass kleiner Finger, Ringfinger und Mittelfinger rechtzeitig wieder vorbereitet werden, während der Zeigefinger spielt.

So kommen die Finger wieder sauber in die Ausgangsposition und das Rasgueado bleibt kontrolliert, gleichmäßig und flamencotypisch im Fluss.

Gerade in Palos wie der Soleá hört man sofort, ob das Rasgueado nur „runtergefächert“ wird oder wirklich vorbereitet und rhythmisch ist.
