Exciting News! Nela and Alea had a great time at Africa Days 2024, happening both in person and online from January 31 to February 2 at the WKO Austria.

This year's AFRICA DAY highlighted opportunities across diverse regions, offering practical market insights and a crucial platform for connecting Austrian and African companies. 🌐🌍

Our colleagues were captivated by the inspiring speeches, which included a compelling address from a distinguished Ghanaian president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and an insightful talk by the professional ex-football player, Didier Drogba. They also engaged in enriching conversations with fascinating business individuals from Africa, including some from remote places like Sao Tome e Principe.🗣️✨

In addition to the insightful speeches and discussions, our colleagues attended an incredible workshop on implementing sustainability projects in emerging markets, featuring valuable insights from Komptech and Lohmann & Rauscher. 🌱🌍

The experience was a unique opportunity to explore, connect, and gain essential sustainability perspectives. We're already looking forward to Africa Days 2025! 🌐✨

Throwback to an incredible event at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa in Addis Ababa at the conference "Digitalization of the TVET sector in Ethiopia". 🚀Our Managing Director Andreas Hörfurter had the honor of addressing vital questions on digital learning for TVET and its role in enhancing the employability of African youth.
🔍 What are the relevant innovations in digital learning for TVET?
🌍 How can it contribute to better employability for African youth?
💬 These and other questions were passionately discussed during his presentation and a panel discussion.

As emphasized during the conference, the key to these innovations lies not only in technology itself but in the innovative use of technology. 💡 Learning should be tailored to the context of the learners, and outcomes must become visible to enhance their employability.

The impact of that day still lingers. 🌟 Grateful for the opportunity and excited to share these valuable insights! 🙌

🎤 One of our team members, Khusraw Parwez, recently took center stage as a speaker at the "EdTech Education Technology for Afghanistan" event.

📚 Focusing on a learner-centered blended education system, Khusraw contributed to a game-changing dialogue, addressing both the challenges and solutions for educational technology in Afghanistan.

🌍 The event was an eye-opener, highlighting various gaps, challenges, and opportunities in improving the quality of teaching and learning in Afghanistan. It was guided by key objectives, as outlined by important UN and UNESCO reports:

1️⃣ Raising awareness about the challenges in education service delivery and how EdTech can address them.
2️⃣ Gathering insights from countries with similar contexts to Afghanistan, focusing on lessons learned and best practices in EdTech.
3️⃣ Exploring innovative EdTech solutions for improving teaching and learning, especially in crisis contexts.
4️⃣ Fostering a sustained learning community for ongoing dialogue and knowledge exchange in EdTech development.

🤝 we are proud to be part of such important discussions that pave the way for quality education for all, particularly in challenging environments like Afghanistan.
