🌞 Together with their Spanish teachers, Ms Ruiz and Ms Ramírez, 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝟏𝟎 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 travelled to the heart of Spain, enjoying the warm Mediterranean breeze and 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚.

🍽️ AMADEANS tasted traditional dishes, joined a 𝐩𝐚𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚‑𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 and explored the city’s colorful streets while spending time together.

🌆 The trip was also a great chance to practice Spanish skills and put classroom learning into real‑life situations. Students discovered new places, learned about 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 and enjoyed the bright Spanish sun as they created wonderful memories with their classmates.

🎨 Boarding students enjoyed a fun and inspiring trip to 𝐀𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐧, where they explored the colorful and creative world of the 𝐊𝐀𝐖𝐒 𝐞𝐱𝐡𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

🧩 During the visit, students learned how comics, cartoons and fine art can connect to create unique and meaningful artwork. They shared ideas, asked great questions and had 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 about the pieces they saw.

💬 It was also a wonderful moment for our boarding community to spend time together, enjoy art, and appreciate everything the city of Vienna has to offer.

🎼 AMADEUS students sharing music with the local community!

🏛️ AMADEUS students and ensemble took part in 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐊𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐧, one of Austria’s largest cultural and community events.

✨ 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐊𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐧 is a nationwide celebration where churches across Austria open their doors for visitors to explore hidden spaces, enjoy concerts, join guided tours and experience the rich cultural heritage found within these historic buildings.

🎤 By performing for the public, our students contribute to this unique tradition, sharing their passion for music and 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐝𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐔𝐒 𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐚.

🎓 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞!

✨ During May, Mental Health Awareness Month, the Social Justice Initiative (SJI) worked to raise awareness about the importance of mental wellbeing within our school community.

🤝 This year's theme from Mental Health Europe, "Stronger Together," emphasised the importance of connection and belonging. Inspired by this message, SJI members designed engaging workshops for their peers. Students explored topics such as ways to recharge and the importance of seeking support when needed.

📸 To further celebrate the theme, the SJI also organised a photography competition, inviting students to capture images that reflected what being stronger together means to them. Congratulations to our Grade 8 winners, whose photographs beautifully captured the spirit of connection within our community!

🏃‍♂️Our 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤 & 𝐅𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 team brought home a 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝-𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟗 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐬!

🥇Pushing through the afternoon rain, 𝐑𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐥 𝐀𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐫 won 3 golds in Hurdles, Long Jump, and Triple Jump, plus a silver in Shot Put; 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐢 𝐀𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧 took 1st place in High Jump; and 𝐈𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐚-𝐒𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐚 𝐆𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫 won 2 silvers in the 100m and 200m.

🏆Our relay teams. with 𝐈𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐚-𝐒𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐚 𝐆𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫, 𝐏𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐖𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐫, 𝐄𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐡𝐦, 𝐋𝐮𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐎𝐬̌𝐤𝐚𝐥𝐧𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐌𝐛𝐰𝐚𝐟𝐮, also did amazing, winning 2nd and 3rd place.
