Well I hope you’ve been preparing because this Weekend is Saturday night fever! Just with a slightly different music style... but there will be ample drinking, dancing and fun to be had by all.

Tickets will be on the door from 19:30 and it is a CASH ONLY event! We’re also grateful for any coins during the night.

All dances will be introduced and walked through.

Sorry but there are no U18 admitted on the night.

From the school library with a cassette player to filling the dining hall with Scotland’s finest musicians, the Vienna Ceilidh has always strived to provide the most authentic experience possible.

So without any fluffing (that’ll come later), here goes:

Come along an join us for the last ever Vienna Ceilidh at VIS with the original (and only) host, Colin Campbell.

Austria’s only world class pipe band, Vienna Pipes and Drums Pipe Band, will be performing in preparation for the 2019 season. They are looking to improve after placing an incredible 11th in the World Pipes and Drums championship 2017.

As ever there will be beer, wine and soft drinks to keep you dancing. If you’re partial to whisky then we can help you select the best dram.

No under 18’s and people wearing tartan will receive a bonus high five!

As ever, we're importing 3 of the finest musicians available to ensure you're feet will be tapping. There will also be organised chaos on the floor as we guide you through a range of traditional dances. In between sessions, Austria’s longest running pipe band, the Vienna Pipes and Drums Pipe Band will be taking you through a number of sets. As ever there will be a full bar with a range of whiskey to tantalise your taste buds.

This years 2015 ceilidh will be taking place on the 28th November at Vienna International School! Bask in the great music that is guaranteed to get your feet tapping along. As ever, Vienna Pipes and Drums Pipe Band will be performing following their successful tour of Scotland which they completed with an appearance at the World Pipe Band Championship!

Sorry for the delay however you'll all be pleased to hear that the Vienna Ceilidh will be taking place on saturday the 23rd November at 20:00! More information to be released soon!
