💦 For more than a decade, the International Joint MSc Programme in Aquatic Ecosystems and Environmental Management (AEEM) has trained experts in aquatic and environmental management while fostering academic cooperation between East African and Austrian universities.

🤝 AEEM graduates now make significant contributions to research, higher education, public institutions, and environmental management across East Africa and beyond.

🇪🇹 In April 2026, programme partners and alumni gathered in Ethiopia to reflect on achievements, strengthen networks, and discuss future perspectives.

The programme is supported by the Austrian Development Cooperation.
