If you're looking for something new to do in Vienna — a new hobby, a way to meet people, enjoy beautiful music and connect with an international community — we'd love to welcome you to one of our Free Intro Tango Classes.

You don't need any previous dance experience. Come with a partner, bring a friend, or simply come on your own.

During the class, you'll discover the very basics of authentic Argentine Tango — the embrace, walking together, listening to the music and communicating with another person through movement.

Viktor Smolenskyi was once youngest tango beginner in Amigos del Tango. Today, he has grown into a remarkable, strong man who is serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and defending our country.

He is not dancing tango now so that we can continue living our lives — and keep dancing.

Please support the fundraiser for a pickup truck for his combat unit. Every contribution matters.

In a world that moves faster every day, tango invites us to slow down.

To listen. To connect. To be present.

Argentine Tango begins with a simple walk and an embrace. Step by step, it becomes a conversation without words, built on trust, acceptance, attention, and shared moments.

Whether you come alone or with a partner, whether you have danced before or never taken a dance step in your life, you are welcome here.

Every evening in Vienna, as in many cities around the world, ordinary people gather at milongas (tango parties) to dance Argentine tango. It's not about perfect steps.
It's about embraces, music and the moment "here and now".
That's why people come back again and again.

🍀 Classes have just started in a new basic course group.
If you want to join, write "tango" in DM.
