Vienna Summer School for Assistive Technology

ASSIST HEIDI Summer School 2025– International Summer School for Accessible Gaming!

Find, adapt, create and play accessible games together with our co-designers with disability!

ASSIST HEIDI brings students and people with disabilities together, to co-design and prototype individual accessible gaming solutions with them. Students will learn the basics about disability, accessible gaming, rapid prototyping, programming and microcontrollers by hands-on project work.

The summer school is organized by the project Inclusion International (Grant-no: 33-02), funded by the City of Vienna and supervised by many experts of the field (Kyle Keane, Natascha Toman, Oliver Klein, Erich Schmid, Martin Deinhofer Martin Deinhofer, Sarah Langer, Alija Sabic).

I am proud to announce that AsTeRICS Ergo has been finally released.

AsTeRICS Ergo allows to install an environmental control system easily and without technical background knowledge. Currently it is possible to control power sockets and all devices with an infrared remote control. These are for instance:
