An Obituary on Alfred Snider Today we had to sadly learn that Professor Alfred Snider deceased. We send our condolences to his family and friends and grieve about Tuna, who was a constant force for good in the debating community and in the world.

It's already 1 month since Vienna EUDC! Thanks to everyone who came, thanks to everyone who helped.
Debattierklub Wien is back to intensive training now, see you all soon at tournaments around the globe!

Another great example of how we managed to reach the medias interest in is this very well researched and well-balanced article that was published in one of the most read newspapers in Austria: Kurier.
We are very thankful for journalistic engagement for the topic of debating. Check it out below, it is really a nice read (although again if you can understand german...
But we wanted to share it anyways so you have an idea, of how even big newspapers show their interest in the topic that is for us all so important - and you can at least have a look at the photos ;) )

Because we're are very happy to tell you that our event has reached a lot of the publics attention, which was always a goal of Vienna EUDC!
In the next days we'll share some of the media attention that was drawn on from several different institutions! The first one is a report from the biggest television broadcasting platform of Austria, the ORF.
It's just online 'till Sunday so make sure you have a look on it.
We're still working on getting it as a Download, so we kann sub the german reportage, to make it for more for of you fully understandable! :)
