Last week, we took our team day to Urania. 🚀

It started with a simple question:
What was your dream job as a child?

And then things got… competitive.

The challenge:
Build the highest and most stable paper tower.

Sounds easy? Think again.

Suddenly, we were in the middle of real leadership questions:

High or robust?
Who gets the limited tape?
Stick to the plan or adapt?
Compete or collaborate?
Is design a luxury - or a strategy?

Some towers were tall.
Some were stable.
Some were unexpectedly beautiful.

What we learned:

Plans matter.
But timing matters more.

Thinking is easy.
Doing under pressure is different.

Rules can guide you.
Or limit you - if you never question them.

And most importantly:
No tower stands alone.

We discovered hidden strengths.
Shared aha moments.
And laughed a lot.

A welcome from the Carlson Global Institute and the first academic session with Ravi Bapna officially kicked off the Global Executive MBA 2026 International Immersion with
School of Management, University of Minnesota.🚀

Later that day, the learning moved from a classroom to the 20th floor of 7 World Trade Center, to Moody's where Jian (Jay) Hu welcomed the cohort for a behind-the-scenes impression of a global company operating at the intersection of data, analytics, finance and decision-making.

Day 2 continued with another academic session with Ravi Bapna and insights from the guest speakers:
