🎓✨ The End of One Journey, the Beginning of Another

Yesterday, we celebrated our Grade 5 students as they completed their years in the IB Primary Years Programme.

Throughout their PYP journey, our learners have grown into thinkers, communicators, risk-takers, and caring members of our community. The celebration recognized not only academic achievement, but also the personal growth, collaboration, and learner agency that are at the heart of an IB education.

From the presentation of certificates and awards to the student-led activities that followed, the day reflected the many talents, friendships, and memories created along the way.

Congratulations to our Grade 5 learners. We are proud of who you are, what you have achieved, and the impact you have made on our community. We wish you every success in the exciting chapters ahead.

A look back at our DP Geography field trip to Spain this past April...☀️🇪🇸

In April, G11 DP Geography students, accompanied by Ms Hörnchen and Ms Jones, embarked on an exciting field trip to Spain. Based in Sitges, students investigated the impacts of tourism on coastal towns and Barcelona, gaining hands-on experience in collecting and recording geographic data. They explored the legacy of the 1992 Olympic Games, examined the challenges of overtourism, and experienced firsthand many of the sites and attractions they were studying.

A fantastic opportunity to bring geography beyond the classroom and into the real world.

🏆🎉 Secondary School Sports Day 2026 🎉🏆

A day dedicated to teamwork, determination, and school spirit brought our secondary students together for an action-packed Sports Day.

Yesterday, students in Grades 6–10 rotated through badminton, smashball, ultimate frisbee, T-ball, and 3x3 basketball, showcasing resilience, collaboration, and a willingness to challenge themselves. Whether competing on the court, on the field, or from the sidelines, they demonstrated the values that make our school community so special.

Thank you to everyone who helped organize and support the event, and congratulations to all students for their enthusiastic participation and positive attitude throughout the day.

What an incredible evening celebrating the achievements, talents, and growth of our Grade 10 students as they completed their Middle Years Programme journey! 🎉🎶🏆

Last night’s ceremony was filled with music, recognition, and unforgettable moments as we honored the accomplishments of our students. From award presentations to outstanding performances, the evening reflected the talent, dedication, and spirit of the Class of 2028.

This morning, the VISMA Mini-Saxophone Concert filled our Octagon with wonderful melodies, featuring performances by students from the saxophone class of Mr. Johannes Mayrhofer.

From jazz classics such as Blue Bossa, Misty, and Doxy to upbeat favourites like Tequila and Swing Valse, it was the perfect way to begin a Friday and close out the week on a high note.

A big thank you to all our young musicians for sharing their talent and creating such a warm and uplifting atmosphere. 🌞🎷

🎨✨ Learning Across the Grades! ✨🎨

Our Grade 3 students recently visited the Grade 9 Visual Arts studio for an inspiring cross-grade learning experience. From brainstorming and experimentation to revision and final ex*****on, the younger students had the opportunity to see firsthand how artists develop and refine their ideas.

The visit not only sparked creativity and curiosity among the Grade 3 students, but also gave our Grade 9 artists a chance to share their knowledge, showcase their work, and take pride in their artistic journey.

Moments like these highlight the power of collaboration, mentorship, and creativity, creating a supportive community where students of all ages can learn from one another and celebrate the artistic process together. 🎨💡

🌱 Future changemakers in action!

On Tuesday, our G11 students attended the Austrian World Summit, where they explored innovative solutions to some of the world's biggest environmental challenges. Hearing directly from entrepreneurs, scientists, activists, and business leaders gave students a unique perspective on how ideas can become impactful action.

We're proud of our students for engaging thoughtfully with these important global issues and representing our school so well.

From the first whistle to the final cheer, yesterday our G3 to G5 students showed incredible energy, determination, teamwork, and school spirit throughout the Sports Day. Whether running, throwing, kicking, pulling, or cheering on their classmates, every student played a part in creating a memorable celebration of sport and community.

Congratulations to all of our students for embracing the challenges, supporting one another, and demonstrating outstanding sportsmanship. The smiles, effort, and excitement on display were what made the day truly special.
